From August 1–8, 2026, JCFilms Studios will produce three original vertical films, all shot in Las Vegas and the surrounding desert. Every participant is cast in all three films, creating a true ensemble experience built around real production, not observation.
These are three separate projects, each with its own story world, tone, and visual style, yet designed to work together as one cohesive filmmaking experience. By the end of the week, every participant walks away with three IMDb credits and meaningful on-camera work across multiple productions.
You won’t be watching from the sidelines. You’ll be on set, on camera, and part of a working cast, contributing to films that will be released to real audiences.
WHY VERTICAL WEEK EXISTS
The film industry is evolving rapidly, and vertical storytelling is no longer experimental. It’s where audiences are watching, engaging, and discovering new talent every day. Platforms are actively seeking vertical content that feels cinematic, emotional, and intentional, not rushed or disposable.
JCFilms Studios created Vertical Week to lead in this new space by doing the work, not just talking about it. This experience is about preparing storytellers for where film is going, while staying grounded in strong performances, meaningful stories, and professional production standards.
This is an ensemble experience designed so everyone participates, everyone appears, and everyone leaves with something tangible.
WHAT YOUR WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
You’ll arrive in Las Vegas and check into the same resort hotel as the entire cast and crew, immediately becoming part of the production community. From there, the week settles into a rhythm of filmmaking, collaboration, and shared experience.
Each day unfolds inside the heart of production, with active filming across multiple projects, rotating roles and featured moments, shared meals with cast and crew, and downtime shaped by the natural rhythm of the shoot.
You’re not commuting to a set or staying somewhere separate, you’re fully immersed in the production from start to finish.
Vertical Week isn’t just about making three films. It’s about stepping into a moment where storytelling, technology, and opportunity intersect.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
By the end of the week, you will have appeared in three completed vertical films, each offering real screen time and professional credit. You’ll receive three IMDb credits, one for each film, along with on-set experience working with a professional studio and filmmakers.
Participants also leave with footage suitable for reels and promotion, meaningful relationships with fellow cast members and crew, and the confidence that comes from completing real productions.
Your experience includes hotel accommodations at a Las Vegas resort and one group meal provided each production day, allowing everyone to connect and build community beyond the set.
