I HAVE A NAME is a compelling feature film that takes an unflinching look at the foster care system - examining the bureaucracies, policies, and human realities that have profoundly impacted the lives of children and families.
This is not a typical foster care film, but a raw, honest story meant to spark meaningful conversations and inspire change.
Gary and Lily’s comfortable world is turned upside down when they agree to temporarily care for a six-year-old girl. What begins as an act of compassion quickly pulls them into a complex system that forever changes their lives. As they struggle to navigate the foster care system, the film confronts powerful realities including domestic violence, physical and emotional abuse, separation from siblings, and the long-term trauma families must overcome.
Starring Dean Cain and Willow Peyton, I HAVE A NAME is inspired by true events and is designed to serve as a conversation starter... one that encourages awareness, compassion, and potential reform within the foster care system.

You will check-in to the same hotel with the rest of the cast and crew. Exclusive dinner with JCFilms Studios team including President, Jason Campbell.
Saturday, January 24
You will attend a two-hour acting class at JCFilms’ brand-new North Canton Film Studio as one of our special guests, receiving hands-on training from working professionals in a real studio environment.
Sunday, January 25
Step onto a working movie set in North Canton, Ohio and film your scene for the feature film I HAVE A NAME, working alongside a professional cast and crew on a story that truly matters.
Sunday Evening – VIP Red Carpet Experience
That evening, you will be a VIP special guest alongside Dean Cain at the world premiere of JCFilms’ newest North Canton production, A PARALYZING REDEMPTION, a powerful true-story film about a man running from God whose life is radically transformed when a devastating car accident becomes the very instrument God uses for his redemption.
