Every single day, 13 people die waiting for a kidney transplant. More than 100,000 men, women, and children across the United States are holding on to hope that the call for a donor will come in time.
End the Wait, created in partnership with the End the Wait Foundation, is more than a film, it’s a movement. Our mission is to shine a spotlight on the urgent need for live kidney donors, to educate the public about how simple it can be, and to inspire real action that saves lives.
This powerful and inspirational drama follows the true story of:
-
A man fighting to survive for his family.
-
A wife desperately searching for a way to save him.
-
A pastor embarking on an epic journey to discover his life’s true purpose.
Bound together by faith, love, and miraculous events, these ordinary people discover a profound truth: you’re never more alive than when you’re giving.
Already, Randy and Russell's story has inspired dozens of altruistic kidney donors in small groups and communities. Now, by bringing their story to the screen, we have the chance to reach 100 million people. If just 1-in-1000 viewers answered the call, we could end the kidney transplant wait list forever saving 100,000 lives and impacting millions more.
